Matlo: a seafood counter that sells online, with pickup at the stall

Matlo is a seafood counter in Rueil-Malmaison, west of Paris. Its manager picks every product from the people who make it. Macklos built a showcase site and a click & collect online store that he runs on his own from his phone.

The starting point

Matlo had no website: the business lived in a Facebook group. The demo was built from that group and from what could be found online, then shown to the manager, who chose the format: online ordering and pickup on site, with no delivery or online payment.

What we built

  • An identity in motion: a short intro animation around the logo.
  • Where products come from: a map of France showing where each product is made.
  • The store: catalogue, basket, ordering and pickup at the stall or the Christmas market chalet.
  • Management: the manager updates the catalogue from his phone; order forms and invoices are emailed automatically.
  • Search visibility: pages designed for Google and AI assistants.

From demo to launch

Once approved, the site moved from the protected demo space to its own domain, comptoir-matlo.fr, registered by the client.
